RESIGNED
Jeuteng scandal, gloriagate tape & E-VAT. Wow! what could be worst than three shaking issues disturbing the entire country? It has shaked each and every person in this country since they all definetley will affect whatever the future holds. I myself just feel so stuck and confused and as I try to plan for myself, I have to consider all these socio, political and economic copndition of the country. At one point, you just wish you could just disappear. After sometime of following the issues, I (and I guess most other people) just felt tired and resigned to everything that was going on. I tried to relax and got hooked to desperate housewives. hehe. But then again, no matter how I say that I don't care anymore, you just can't help but still be disturbed. I still do have that love for this country. The country that opened possibilities for my grandparents to have a good life that led on to our generation. Even if migration or working abroad always seems to be an easy option, part of me does feel guilty just by the thought of leaving a land that you know you can do so much for. Somehow it is also a question of where you are more needed.I will probably take a good opportunity to either work or study abroad but my hope for the country is not yet fully disillusioned. I still do see hope. So, permanent migration is not yet an option. Being exposed to the family business (mostly sending factory trainees to korea), I now see OFWs truly as the hope of our country. On As long as they still come back after some years of working in another land, then the technology, discipline and the dollars that they bring with them will definetely help teh greater economy.
