Everything is Politics and Politics affects Everything
Don't tell me that the rich are not affected by politics. They do. I believe that it does have an impact on every single citizen of a country. It does alter lifestyles. Before going into details, why is everything politics? well, when we try to think of our activities for the day and see how to make things easier for us, isn't that politics? When we argue with our sisters and exchange thougts, that's politics. When we try to bargain at the stores or ask for allowance or wage increas, that's politics. And again, how does it affect everything? Don't tell me that the crimes that are partly caused by politics which is directly correlated to the economy, does not make the rich more paranoid and unfree to go anywhere they wish too. I know of some people who goes to Malaysia just to experience the beach because they don't feel safe in boracay. Or, i personally had to be called to the dept. of foreign affairs of Germany for an interview, because i am Filipino. Or isn't it harder to get a visa now? Do i sound so mad??? hahaha! Well, i've been feeling this hatred lately because , because of politics, i am very much torn on a lot of things. It has made decision making way harder. I am quite bothered by the way I'm thinking now because in the past I've always been an optimistic person...and a touch of nationalism in me...i still do...just have to be able to compromise thoughts and get out of this anger...it's always not right to make a decision when you're mad.

Hey Achi Elyse. Well, I know how you feel. I once ranted on how I hated the way Philippines ran. It can't be helped, but since most people are idealistic (I am one of them), you always want what's best. People from abroad sadly don't have the same perspective. I heard that in London, "Filipino" means domestic helper.
We are a country of people who worship boxers, beauty queens and talentless telenovela stars as heroes. What does that say about our nation's reservoir of hope?
Hi Christa! what a surprise to hear from you :) Thanks for visiting my blog:) well, i guess it also depends on how Filipinos will carry themselves here and abroad. We build our own dignity too :)
