God is Love
I'd like to share the most glaring and eye staring evidences of God's presence in my life :
1.) I can't help but be humbled and grateful always that I was born into a middle class family that is more or less financially stable. And I now that I was not put into this position for no reason. To whom more is given, more is expected.
2.) I am still amazed by how I was able to pull off one year of teaching. I know that I was merely an instrument and He DID the rest. As a teacher, there will always be apprehension on how the class will turn out. And somehow, things has often turned out well :) Do your best and he will do the rest :)
3.) I have great people around me. My prayer group (CLC), my HS barkada, family, college friends, the AP-ANNEX, my guidees (ICA-YCLC and ACLC), jesuits, loving students, great life mentors (my guides) and the list goes on :)
4.)The several crisis that I survived. I can identify 3 major ones :)
5.) How I managed to live in a foreign land for six months and also be able to travel around Europe on my own. He simply always provides.During my six months in Germany, I was lucky to have a Filipina professor who used to teach in UA&P (where I went for college) and so her family became my family there. During my last month, I thought it be a waste if I was already in Europe and yet I don't tour aorund. So I took the risk of traveling on my own. In Italy, I was lucky to meet a Filipina who happen to have no work yet so she offered to tour me around, in Paris, my friend Pam happen to be there on the same day that I plan to go. In netherlands, the receptionist of the hotel where i stayed was Filipina and the transportation system was superb and a bus driver didn't make me pay a trip! haha! In Austria and Lourdes (France), my friend Dang's family was on tour so I went with them :) When I lost my wallet in Paris and needed 5 Euros to get a seat in the train! A kind soul (Australian girl) was so kind to help me and so I gave her a token in return. Before I forget, my trips within Germany were all sponsored. I did not have to spend for lodging because my friends there offered their homes. And I was particularly blessed to be a part of the CLC Philippines because I was able to connect with the members there and got to visit their homes too. So I always had people to tour me around.
A personal favorite among all the countless instances was that when I decided to make the europe tour on my onw and thought I didn't have money anymore, as I was cleaning my room and opened the BIBLE, WHALA! THERE WAS 600 DOLLARS!!!
There is no coincidence. Just GRACES.
