Emotional Investment

Everyday we share a part of ourselves with others, whether consciously or unconsciously. We learn about people through their words and actions...likes, dislikes, etc. but one thing that may never bee seen is how someone truly is inside. Though people may not be able to control or choose what to feel, people can very well choose to control the feelings/emotions that they show. Some are very generous and free sprit-ed that they don't mind being very transparent. While others have mastered the art of supressing one's emotions. Which I'm afraid I might have overdone and wish could slowly soften up and allow myself to have more space to breathe. What holds me back from showing emotions and thus carrying an NR face most of the time is the fear that my emotions may show so much of my weaknessess that I may be hit behind my back without me realizing it. My being paranoid about these things is not something inborn. In fact, my (to be continued...inantok)
