Pros & Cons
Would you rather be a boss that works at least 12 hours a day, a business owner who works at least 18 hours a day or an employee who works at least 8 hours a day? Perhaps that deeper question is the kind of lifestyle that you want to lead or what you want to achieve. Each position has certain income and salary range, and different degrees of responsibility also. And definitely, our income level will affect the things that we can do :) People are unique and has different comfortability level and talents. I believe that the notion that a businessman is much more capable than an employee does not follow. This employee may have been capable being on a higher stature but he chose to live a simpler life. On the other end, the businessman may have chosen the life not really simply for wealth but the desire to share and be able to do more for others. It's simply because the individual chose it based on his personal goals and not simple a measure of capability. I somehow made a draft of pros & cons having somehow had an experience these three different levels. Well, although i will classify them as such, some cons may actually be a pro for some. It really depends on how we operate as people. Some people are better as followers than leaders and vice versa. Just no one position is more respectable that the other. Both are equally important and needed in this universe.
EMPLOYEE
PROS:
-You are assigned a specific job & need not worry about the other parts of the operations. Often, you leave work at the office.
-salary income is comfortable if you are single
-stable source of income
-you don't do so much of the planning
CONS
-You may be stuck in a daily routine
-salary range may be difficult for a married person if you are the bread winner.
-you have superiors to get orders from and specific time schedule to follow (others may find this as a Pro.)
MANAGEMENT LEVEL
Pros
-Income range may already be comfortable enough for a middle class family.
-You have more people to assist you
-leadership role
-priviledged to interact with both staff & higher management
-may have perks of flexi time
-more room for personal creativity
-still with regular source of income
Cons
-serving as a link between the staff and top management may be a headache
-liable for more things & shortcomings of the department
-may mean longer meeting hours thus lesser time for other personal matters
ENTREPRENEUR
PROS
-You own your time because you may set meetings according to your schedule
-Income potential is unlimited
-So much more people to assist you
-Ability to experience luxuries of life
-Ability to help more people in need because of your income level
-More room for personal creativity
CONS
-Business is rely on your competence
-Perhaps the only time you don't think about work is when you are asleep or occassional meetings with friends
-Big Capital at risk
-employment of people under your care
-thought income may be exponential, total reverse may happen also. No specific regular stable income
-On call
So, what kind of lifestyle attracts you?:) It may seem that the amount of personal time decreases as one goes higher the ladder but on the second thought, it really depends on the amount of wealth you are willing to sacrifice for non-monetary needs.

I really think I wasn't cut out to be an entrepreneur. Even my own mother tells me I'm not business-minded enough, that I'm too much of an intellectual. If it were completely up to me, I'd be a lowly teacher forever (I guess that makes me an employee then). The pay may be crappy, but the intangible rewards far outweigh the material ones I'm getting from being the C.O.O. Of course, I might sing a different tune if I were the breadwinner of my family, but that's why I'm looking for a filthy rich husband to support me. Hahahaha.
Whaha! mukhang marami na tayong nagaagawan sa filthy rich husband ah! Hope there's enough of them out there.
I would hire a person who is much better than me if I become a boss. Even if I must pay lots of salary for him/her cause he/she will bring me more opportunity to get money. I'm also thinking about a president. Because my president always stay in China for our Chine factory. So I'm the one who in charge of Seoul office. Furthermore, I also have to take care of our employees, capital, etc. That's really headache especially monetary problem. But I think it's good time to learn how to run a business.... So I'm learning about it one by one.... Which one is more arracractive me? You can guess.... Salaryperson's life is absolutely boring....
If you can't avoid it, just enjoy it!!!!
